As the course at Apple Mountain dries out, we will all experience some fairway lies that may be considered “unreasonable.” This rule exception applies only to an "unreasonable" lie, in the fairway or 1st rough cut. You may, with your partners/opponents knowledge and concurrence, and without penalty, “bump” your ball to a more reasonable lie, no closer to the hole. The bump shall be no more than 6 inches. This rule exception shall be accomplished with your playing opponents knowledge and consent and only in cases of an “unreasonable” lie in the fairway or first rough cut.
This rule exception will apply to all 2015 Club events, except as noted below, that occur after August 31, 2015 and until the rainy season begins, where Winter Rules will then apply. The Drought Rule Exception shall not apply to any NCGA events which may be held at the course, including NCGA Team Match competitions.
